Electric document security data is a document security solution based on Microsoft Office Share Point Server (MOSS) and RMS (Rights Management Services) product.

RMS is a platform that protects important information of the company, moving with applications which produce information and information producer, setting up the authority of relevant documents.

 1. Information producer receives user/machine certification    when using authority management at first.
   (certification – authentic medium)

2. Information producer sets up authority and rule for usage    in the document; application produces license and codes    file. (Publishing License)

3. Distributes document and e-mail of information producer

4. When receiver opens file, application asks RMS server to    verify user and check whether or not to use license.
   (Use License)

5. Application lends file and controls authority use.

 

Microsoft RMS(Rights Management Services) + MOSS + AD(Active Directory)

· Information producer uploads document file to MOSS(Microsoft Office Share Point Server) which is a document   management system, and information receiver codes and sets up access authority by using RMS API in MOSS   system when downloading document file.

· Applies different or the same access rule to various type of users for reading, writing, browsing, copying, printing,   saving, transmitting, correcting and expiry date depending on grades, groups and users

 

 

· Basic function: controls transmitting, copying, editing or printing e-mail
· Additionally extends through the template of authority policy
· Automatically codes messages during the process of sending messages (saves also after coding in Exchange   Mailbox)
· Automatically protects attached Office documents (follows attached document policy when attaching RM   protected document)
